The internet made therapists easier to compare.
Not easier to choose.

Some of the best therapists are
the hardest to find.

Years of supervised hours, personal therapy, experiential groups. You learned to sit with the most difficult parts of another person. Then someone tells you the next step is SEO.

We think there is a better way to begin.

The best work happens
when people are free
to become exceptional at
what only they can do.

    Therapists are no exception.

A therapist shouldn’t have to compete with marketing specialists to build a thriving practice.

Neither should a writer have to become an SEO expert to be read, or a doctor a content creator to be found.

Every hour spent learning someone else’s profession is an hour not spent becoming better at your own.

Every introduction demands invisible work.
Work most businesses aren't willing to do.

The Red Room

Something feels wrong...

Here are weekly essays and a Substack community to help you name and embrace your feelings. You don't have to go through this alone.

Google + Substack + Instagram

When you're ready for therapy, you'll find The Red Room while searching for help on Google or Instagram.

We don't think people should have to handle life alone between sessions. Weekly essays, community conversations and check-ins keep you engaged instead of thinking about yourself for only fifty minutes a week.

To find a therapist, you'll be invited to tell us a little about yourself.

"I think I should get some help..."

She decides to reach out because at some point she trusted TRR's judgment. She goes through our intake process and gets a short report that helps her visualize her current life phase.

What does qualification mean here?

We start with the practicals: availability, budget, and when you'd realistically like to begin. Then, the best part: what are you hoping will be different in your life?

If you choose the full version, you'll also receive a short reflection report. It's not a diagnostic quiz, and it won't tell you who you are. We stick to what we're capable of doing: organising your own story into language you can read back.

She's introduced to someone.

She has her first session with someone that already has a grasp of what's her life looking like today and what's the impact she's looking for.

The therapist receives context.

At the same time, we help your therapist understand what kind of change you're looking for and the context behind it. The therapeutic work is still theirs. We simply make sure it starts with clarity and a shared understanding of what brought you together.

The standard approach

Something feels wrong...

Here's a search bar, some hard to understand filters, and a questionnaire with no concrete take that leaves you feeling emotional and lonely.

"I think I should get some help..."

She scrolls through hundreds of smiling therapists profiles hoping she finds someone she vibes with and has a review. She also watches some Tik Toks to understand what's the difference between Humanistics and Psychoanalysis.

She's introduced to someone.

"The bio said she was empathetic and considered human beings as a whole. I mean, you can only assess the fit once you meet, right?"

Most businesses only optimize the last box. It's the least noisy.

Most companies spend all their energy optimizing what happens after someone reaches out. We decided to take responsibility for everything that comes before this because in psychology the value is created in clarity, not in volume.

And we can see the proof every time neither of you start the session from zero.

Things you might be wondering

You’ll receive a tailored package of 12–15 referrals based on the kind of practice you’re building today.

We tailor introductions around your current preferences, whether that’s specific areas of work (such as depression, anxiety or neurodivergence), geographic location, availability, or other criteria that matters to you.

Before a referral reaches you, we qualify it for therapeutic readiness, budget, scheduling compatibility, and intended start date. The goal is to introduce people that are already looking for you, but are getting lost in the noise.

No.

We know private practice isn’t linear. Some months you’re full, others you’re intentionally growing. We don’t believe a recurring subscription reflects that reality, so we build tailored referral packages around your current demand and capacity.

The size of each package isn’t arbitrary. It’s calculated around the outcomes you want to achieve. We estimate the number of qualified introductions needed based on previous field research on expected conversion rates, average treatment length, your availability, and the type of practice you want to build. That’s also how we can easily tailor this number to your expected outcome.
Essentially, we don’t decide how many referrals to send based on what’s sitting in our database, we calculate how many you’re likely to need.

You work for yourself. Always.

The therapeutic relationship, the method, the planning, the care, it’s all entirely yours. You decide who to work with, how you work, what you charge, and how your practice evolves. Our role ends where yours begins: making thoughtful introductions between women looking for therapy and therapists they’re genuinely likely to benefit from.

Therapy is relational, and we know not every introduction will become a therapeutic relationship.

That’s precisely why we work with referral packages rather than individual introductions. Each package is designed to provide enough qualified opportunities to generate a meaningful return on your investment, while preserving the freedom to choose the clients with whom you’ll do your best work.

Additionally, if a referral no longer meets the qualification criteria we agreed on – for example, availability, budget, or intended start date – we’ll replace it in accordance with our replacement policy.

If you believe your best work happens in the therapy room, we'd like to protect that.

Shall we find out if we're the right fit?
